Lignite Production

Air drying involves exposing the lignite to natural air currents, while mechanical drying utilizes heat and mechanical means to remove moisture. Thermal drying, on the other hand, involves using high temperatures to evaporate the moisture content of the lignite.

Once the lignite is dried, it can be processed further to produce different forms of energy products. One common method is to pulverize the lignite into a fine powder, which is then used as fuel in power plants to generate electricity. The powdered lignite is typically mixed with water to form a slurry, which is then injected into a combustion chamber.

In addition to power generation, lignite can also be converted into various other energy products, such as synthetic natural gas, liquid fuels, and chemical feedstocks.
