Imitation Jewellery Price in Lithuania (FOB) - 2022
The average imitation jewellery export price stood at $335,436 per ton in 2022, increasing by 13% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a mild decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 46% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $379,479 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($1,656,875 per ton), while the average price for exports to Latvia ($65,608 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Armenia (+21.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imitation Jewellery Price in Lithuania (CIF) - 2022
The average imitation jewellery import price stood at $108,818 per ton in 2022, reducing by -12% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imitation jewellery import price increased by +52.2% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 38% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $123,700 per ton, and then contracted in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Spain ($335,418 per ton), while the price for Poland ($32,091 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+14.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imitation Jewellery Exports in Lithuania
For the third consecutive year, Lithuania recorded decline in overseas shipments of imitation jewelry, which decreased by -18.9% to 28 tons in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a abrupt downturn. The smallest decline of -0.6% was in 2020.
In value terms, imitation jewellery exports declined to $9.3M in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +4.5% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 36% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $11M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
