Halogenated Hydrocarbon Derivative Price in Lithuania (CIF) - 2022

The average halogenated hydrocarbon derivative import price stood at $4,954 per ton in 2022, falling by -2.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, posted a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average import price increased by 84%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $6,185 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($12,427 per ton), while the price for Russia ($945 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+17.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Halogenated Hydrocarbon Derivative Price in Lithuania (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average halogenated hydrocarbon derivative export price amounted to $4,173 per ton, increasing by 15% against the previous year. In general, the export price enjoyed pronounced growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average export price increased by 106%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $7,515 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($13,470 per ton), while the average price for exports to Austria ($839 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Latvia (+7.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Halogenated Hydrocarbon Derivative Imports in Lithuania

In 2022, the amount of halogenated derivatives of hydrocarbons imported into Lithuania contracted to 989 tons, reducing by -6% against the year before. Over the period under review, imports showed a noticeable downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 25% against the previous year.

In value terms, halogenated hydrocarbon derivative imports shrank to $4.9M in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 96% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $5.4M, and then contracted in the following year.
