In 2022, the average gum arabic import price amounted to $4,340 per ton, surging by 11% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate temperate growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 213%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $10,511 per ton. From 2018 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
