Groundnuts Price in Belarus (CIF) - 2022
The average groundnuts import price stood at $1,265 per ton in 2022, dropping by -14.8% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a slight setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the average import price increased by 15%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $1,667 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the countries with the highest prices were Lithuania ($1,621 per ton) and Uzbekistan ($1,378 per ton), while the price for Argentina ($1,118 per ton) and Tajikistan ($1,215 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Argentina (+8.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average groundnuts export price amounted to $1,882 per ton, with a decrease of -12% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a pronounced shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 38% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $2,452 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Russia amounted to -2.6% per year.
Groundnuts Imports in Belarus
In 2022, the amount of ground-nut (in-shell) imported into Belarus dropped markedly to 52 tons, declining by -63.7% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, imports recorded a dramatic decrease. The smallest decline of -11.1% was in 2020.
