Gingerbread Price in Finland (CIF) - 2023
The average gingerbread import price stood at $8,062 per ton in May 2023, shrinking by -5.1% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 when the average import price increased by 57% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $9,018 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to May 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In May 2023, the country with the highest price was Estonia ($13,180 per ton), while the price for Germany ($4,372 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Estonia (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Gingerbread Price in Finland (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average gingerbread export price amounted to $5,030 per ton, rising by 36% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The export price peaked at $5,450 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
