The average fuel filter import price stood at $16.5 per unit in September 2022, picking up by 33% against the previous month. In general, the import price enjoyed a strong increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2022 an increase of 85% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in September 2022.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($40.7 per unit), while the price for Vietnam ($1.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2021 to September 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Malaysia (+11.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
