The import price peaked at $1,562 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($3,346 per ton), while the price for the United States ($1,449 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+21.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Costa Rica ($1,827 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States amounted to $1,643 per ton.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Costa Rica (+4.9%).
