The average flat glass export price stood at $5.9 per square meter in 2022, surging by 3.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 64%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $6.2 per square meter in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were Azerbaijan ($0.3 per square meter) and Iraq ($0.3 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($0.2 per square meter) and Georgia ($0.2 per square meter) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Iraq (-1.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
