The average fish; live, carp import price stood at $4,370 per ton in 2022, which is down by -4.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 153% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $6,316 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
