The average ferro-alloys; ferro-nickel import price stood at $8,078 per ton in June 2023, with an increase of 21% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 32% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $8,231 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from the Netherlands ($9,767 per ton) and Greece ($9,420 per ton), while the price for Brazil ($7,171 per ton) and Guatemala ($9,049 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+5.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Finland (+80.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
