The average ferro-alloys; ferro-nickel import price stood at $4,751 per ton in June 2023, waning by -6.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price showed a perceptible decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2022 when the average import price increased by 81% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $10,369 per ton in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($4,873 per ton), while the price for the UK ($806 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by New Caledonia (+9.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $8,091 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Spain.
