In 2022, the average ester gums import price amounted to $6,598 per ton, declining by -60.2% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a temperate increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 120%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $16,581 per ton, and then fell rapidly in the following year.
