Dairy Machinery Price in Australia (FOB) - 2022

The average dairy machinery export price stood at $10,678 per unit in 2022, waning by -4.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average export price increased by 124%. The export price peaked at $11,134 per unit in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($13,006 per unit), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($8,127 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+50.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Dairy Machinery Price in Australia (CIF) - 2022

In 2022, the average dairy machinery import price amounted to $10,633 per unit, waning by -9.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 23% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $12,492 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, the amount of dairy machinery exported from Australia shrank significantly to 120 units, waning by -58.3% against the previous year. In general, exports faced a dramatic setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 443% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 288 units, and then reduced notably in the following year.

In value terms, dairy machinery exports plummeted to $1.3M in 2022. Overall, exports saw a precipitous contraction.
