In August 2023, the average copper wire import price amounted to $9,036 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Over the period from August 2022 to August 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 5.2% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $9,715 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to August 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
