Concrete Reinforcing Bar Price in Azerbaijan (FOB) - 2023
The average concrete reinforcing bar export price stood at $621 per ton in July 2023, almost unchanged from the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 3.5% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $681 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Turkmenistan ($637 per ton), while the average price for exports to Georgia totaled $614 per ton.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkmenistan (0.0%).

The average concrete reinforcing bar import price stood at $649 per ton in July 2023, declining by -6.4% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a mild slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 7% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $819 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
