The average commercial printing export price stood at $8,878 per ton in June 2023, picking up by 14% against the previous month. Over the period from June 2022 to June 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.7%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 20% month-to-month. The export price peaked in June 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($19,983 per ton), while the average price for exports to Sweden ($4,365 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
