In 2022, the average chipped non-coniferous wood import price amounted to $378 per cubic meter, declining by -2.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 82% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $415 per cubic meter in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
