Chipped Non-Coniferous Wood Price in Slovakia (CIF) - 2022
The average chipped non-coniferous wood import price stood at $70 per cubic meter in 2022, picking up by 65% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a deep reduction. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $134 per cubic meter in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Spain ($186 per cubic meter), while the price for Poland ($15 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (+11.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price peaked at $347 per cubic meter in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($227 per cubic meter), while the average price for exports to Romania ($29 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary (-4.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
