Centrifugal Clothes-Dryer Price in Uganda (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average centrifugal clothes-dryer import price amounted to $161 per unit, shrinking by -49% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a abrupt decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when the average import price increased by 120%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $755 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($1,398 per unit), while the price for the United Arab Emirates ($23 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Canada (+123.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average centrifugal clothes-dryer export price stood at $66 per unit in 2022, with an increase of 468% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw prominent growth. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $230 per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Rwanda ($113 per unit), while the average price for exports to Kenya totaled $12 per unit.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Rwanda (+39.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Centrifugal Clothes-Dryer Imports in Uganda
In 2022, centrifugal clothes-dryer imports into Uganda skyrocketed to 143 units, growing by 38% on 2021.
