Bed Linen Price in Norway (CIF) - 2022

The average bed linen import price stood at $10,655 per ton in 2022, growing by 9.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Portugal ($25,627 per ton), while the price for India ($9,187 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Portugal (+4.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Bed Linen Price in Norway (FOB) - 2022

The average bed linen export price stood at $12,411 per ton in 2022, declining by -7.5% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a noticeable slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average export price increased by 90%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $19,767 per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Bed linen imports into Norway declined notably to 6K tons in 2022, falling by -16% compared with 2021. Overall, imports showed a noticeable descent.
