Bed Linen Price in Greece (CIF) - 2022

In 2022, the average bed linen import price amounted to $5,153 per ton, reducing by -6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a noticeable reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 17%. The import price peaked at $8,633 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Spain ($19,105 per ton), while the price for India ($2,670 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average bed linen export price amounted to $4,793 per ton, waning by -20.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a abrupt setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 14% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $13,968 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
