The average arsenic import price stood at $315,670 per ton in 2022, dropping by -22.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a significant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average import price increased by 1,102% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $405,043 per ton, and then declined dramatically in the following year.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($289,952 per ton), while the price for Germany stood at $284,400 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+16.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average arsenic export price amounted to $4,914 per ton, which is down by -6.8% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt decline.
