Aluminium Wire Price in Colombia (CIF) - 2022

The average aluminium wire import price stood at $3,522 per ton in February 2022, picking up by 6.7% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.2%. The growth pace was the most rapid in September 2021 when the average import price increased by 12% month-to-month. The import price peaked in February 2022.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In February 2022, the country with the highest price was China ($5,730 per ton), while the price for Venezuela ($2,940 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From February 2021 to February 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
