The average alkali metals; sodium import price stood at $16,037 per ton in 2022, waning by -3.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 98% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $16,606 per ton in 2021, and then dropped slightly in the following year.
