Aircraft Propeller Price in Russia (FOB) - 2022

The average aircraft propeller export price stood at $294,057 per ton in 2022, increasing by 39% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.7%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Ukraine ($626,478 per ton), while the average price for exports to Moldova amounted to $135,368 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Bulgaria (+18.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average aircraft propeller import price amounted to $90,751 per ton, with a decrease of -65.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average import price increased by 146%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $663,094 per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 123%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 303 tons, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, aircraft propeller exports declined significantly to $50M in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 76%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $64M, and then dropped markedly in the following year.

In general, imports posted a significant expansion. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, aircraft propeller imports declined dramatically to $9M in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated a noticeable increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.0% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +43.9% against 2020 indices.
