Windar Renovables to Build New Wind Turbine Tower Plant in Poland for 2026 Production

According to a report from Power Technology, Windar Renovables is expanding its Polish operations with a new manufacturing facility for onshore wind turbine towers. The site will be located at CTPark Legnica within the Lower Silesia region.

The company has secured a substantial area for the project, including industrial and warehouse space as well as a large outdoor storage yard. The facility itself will be composed of four separate production halls, a dedicated warehouse for raw materials, an external storage area, and office space.

Manufacturing at the plant is scheduled to begin in the final quarter of 2026. Once operational, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 200 wind turbine towers. These towers will primarily supply projects in Poland and Germany, contributing significant wind power capacity to the region.

The production process is designed to handle very large components, including tower sections of considerable length, weight, and diameter. The development is anticipated to generate hundreds of new jobs and will involve suppliers from the surrounding area.

Company leadership indicated that Poland serves as a crucial logistics center for the central European wind market and is integral to the firm's expansion plans. They emphasized that increasing European manufacturing capacity is a key company priority, and acknowledged the collaboration with CTPark Legnica on the project.

CTPark Legnica is part of a special economic zone that encourages business investment in southwestern Poland. A representative involved with the project stated that it aligns with a strategy of creating advanced industrial ecosystems, noting the complex nature of the required buildings and the site's strategic location for accessing the German market.
