The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2007 to 2016- however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations in certain years. Over the period under review, global capacitor imports reached its maximum level of $X in 2014- however, from 2015 to 2016, it failed to regain its strength.

In 2016, Malaysia (X tonnes), distantly followed by Hungary (X tonnes), and China (X tonnes) were the main importers of capacitor, together mixed up X% of total imports. Singapore (X tonnes), Japan (X tonnes), and Germany (X tonnes) occupied the minor share of total imports.
From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of capacitor imports, among the main importing countries, was attained by Hungary (+X% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, China ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported capacitor worldwide, making up X% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Germany ($X), with the share of X% of global imports. It was followed by Singapore, with the share of X%.
In China, capacitor imports stood at an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2007-2016. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates: Germany (+X% per year) and Singapore (-X% per year).

In 2016, the average import price for capacitor amounted to $X per kg, falling by -X% against the previous year. Overall, capacitor import price continues to indicate a moderate contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2011, when import price increased by X% from the previous year level. Global capacitor import peaked of $X per kg in 2013- however, from 2014 to 2016, it failed to regain its strength.
Import prices varied noticeably by country of destination. the country with the highest import prices was China ($X per kg), while Hungary ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
