Uzum Fintech Valuation Hits $2.3 Billion in 2026

The Uzbekistan-based fintech company Uzum has attained a valuation of $2.3 billion. This figure represents an increase of approximately 53% compared to its valuation from seven months prior.

Building Uzbekistan's digital ecosystem

The new valuation follows an investment of $131.5 million. The investment round was led by sovereign wealth funds from Oman and included participation from existing investors. The financing consists of equity and convertible financing linked to a future funding round. The company is targeting a potential pre-IPO funding round in the latter part of 2026 or early 2027.

Uzum, founded in 2022, operates a digital ecosystem that includes e-commerce, payments, and consumer lending. Its services encompass a marketplace, a digital bank, a consumer lending platform, and an express food delivery service.

As of the report's publication, the ecosystem reaches an estimated 20 million users. Its marketplace connects over 17,000 local sellers. Across its services, the company processed approximately $11 billion in payment volume during 2025. The count of annual transacting users increased to about 4.6 million in 2025 from around 3 million a year earlier.

Fintech driving profitability

The company's financial results for 2025 showed revenue of $691 million, up from $505 million a year earlier, while net income rose to $176 million from $150 million. Its e-commerce marketplace generated $500 million in gross merchandise value and achieved EBITDA profitability after three years.

The investment reflects growing interest in Uzbekistan's digital economy, which is characterized by a young population and increasing smartphone use alongside currently low levels of online retail and banking penetration.
