JPMorgan Secures Anchor Tenant Role in Hong Kong's Artist Square Towers

According to a report from the South China Morning Post, JPMorgan Chase has agreed to a long-term lease for approximately 250,000 square feet of office space in a new development in Hong Kong. The property, known as Artist Square Towers, is a project by Sun Hung Kai Properties located in the West Kowloon district.

The agreement establishes the US investment bank as the anchor tenant for the mixed-use development, which offers a total of about 700,000 square feet. JPMorgan plans to relocate its Kowloon operations from their current location to the new towers during the latter part of 2028. The bank will maintain its existing office presence in Hong Kong's Central district.

Artist Square Towers is scheduled for completion in 2027 and will consist of three waterfront buildings. The development will provide premium office space alongside retail offerings. JPMorgan will occupy the top six interconnected floors of the linked East and West Towers.

The move is positioned to offer employees access to retail, dining, and multiple transportation options in the area, which is described as a cultural hub. The chairman of the developer stated that the bank's commitment highlights the district's growing status and reflects confidence in Hong Kong's role as a financial center.
