Feeder Cattle Prices & Futures: Market Report for March 11, 2026

According to a USDA AMS MyMarketNews report, livestock auctions on March 11, 2026, showed varied price ranges for feeder cattle. At the Beaver Livestock market in Oklahoma, feeder steers weighing between 500 and 600 pounds were reported at a price range of 475.00 to 538.00. Heifers in the 400 to 500 pound category at the same location ranged from 445.00 to 510.00.

Winter Livestock in Colorado listed feeder steers in the 400 to 500 pound category from 532.50 to 612.50. Feeder heifers of similar weight there were reported between 476.00 and 560.00. At the Lonestar Stockyards in Texas, prices for 500 to 600 pound feeder steers were listed from 440.00 to 499.00, while heifers in that weight bracket were reported at 385.00 to 387.00.

Futures settlements for the same day showed increases for live cattle contracts. The April live cattle contract settled at 232.375, an increase of 2.225. The June contract was at 230.200, up 2.775. Feeder cattle futures also rose, with the March contract at 353.350, an increase of 2.700.

Grain futures saw mixed movements. March corn settled at 4.3650, a slight increase. May soybeans were reported at 12.0400, also up. March wheat on the Kansas City Board of Trade settled at 5.9675, a decrease.

The daily estimated boxed beef cutout value for Choice graded beef was 394.67. The Select grade cutout was 386.77. Estimated daily cattle slaughter for the day was reported at 108,000 head.
