BJs Wholesale Club Q4 2025 Results: Sales Beat, Shares Fall on 2026 Outlook

According to a report from Yahoo Finance, BJs Wholesale Club posted fourth quarter sales growth and non-GAAP earnings per share that exceeded analyst expectations. The market reaction to the results, however, was negative. Company leadership highlighted strong gains in membership and increased customer traffic as primary factors in its performance, while also observing a careful consumer spending climate and pressure on margins due to changes in the types of goods sold.

Revenue for the quarter was $5.58 billion, which was slightly above analyst forecasts and represented a year-on-year increase. Adjusted earnings per share were $0.96, beating estimates. Adjusted EBITDA, however, fell short of analyst projections. The operating margin remained consistent with the level from the same period in the prior year.

Looking ahead, the company's adjusted EPS guidance for the 2026 financial year, at a midpoint of $4.50, is below current analyst estimates. The total number of locations increased compared to the same quarter last year. Same-store sales rose year on year, though at a slower rate than in the prior-year period.
