The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when the production volume increased by 55%. As a result, production attained the peak level of $294M. The countries with the highest volumes of production in 2024 were Bahrain (18K tons), Turkey (16K tons) and Oman (7.5K tons), with a combined 85% share of total production.

Based on 2024 figures, aluminium alloy wire import price decreased by -6.0% against 2022 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 35% against the previous year. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by 54%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 101K tons. From 2015 to 2024, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, aluminium alloy wire exports contracted to $110M in 2024. Overall, exports recorded a noticeable reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when exports increased by 70%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $294M. From 2015 to 2024, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Bahrain represented the key exporter of aluminium alloy wire in MENA, with the volume of exports amounting to 18K tons, which was near 75% of total exports in 2024.
