Canada represented the main exporter of wood-based panels exported in the world, with the volume of exports finishing at X cubic meters, which was near X% of total exports in 2018. Russia (X cubic meters) occupied the second position in the ranking, followed by Germany (X cubic meters), Thailand (X cubic meters), Austria (X cubic meters) and Romania (X cubic meters). All these countries together occupied near X% share of total exports. Exports from Canada increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2018. At the same time, Romania (+X%), Belarus (+X%), Russia (+X%), Latvia (+X%), China (+X%), France (+X%), Belgium (+X%) and the Czech Republic (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Romania emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2018. Thailand experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Austria (-X%) and Germany (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Canada (+X p.p.), Russia (+X p.p.), Romania (+X p.p.), Belarus (+X p.p.), France (+X p.p.) and Latvia (+X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2007-2018, the share of Germany (-X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
