Turkey, the U.S., Germany, Sweden, Mexico, Spain, Canada, France, Egypt and Portugal lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X terms of the main exporting countries, Portugal saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average tissue paper export price stood at $X per tonne in 2020, which is down by -X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a mild slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average export prices reached the maximum at $X per tonne in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2020, export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
