Non-Cane Molasses Exports

After two years of decline, overseas shipments of molasses (excluding cane molasses) increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when exports increased by X%. The global exports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, non-cane molasses exports rose remarkably to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. In 2022, Russia (X tons), distantly followed by Belarus (X tons), Poland (X tons), Germany (X tons), Egypt (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) were the main exporters of molasses (excluding cane molasses), together generating X% of total exports.
