Exports of Iron Or Steel Solid Fuel Domestic Appliances

After two years of growth, overseas shipments of iron or steel solid fuel domestic appliances decreased by less than 0.1% to X units in 2022. In general, exports showed a pronounced decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 41% against the previous year. The global exports peaked at X units in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, metal solid fuel appliances exports rose sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +94.8% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 49%. Over the period under review, the global exports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

The biggest shipments were from the Netherlands (X units), China (X units), Poland (X units), Italy (X units), Germany (X units), Belgium (X units), Turkey (X units), Serbia (X units), the Czech Republic (X units), Austria (X units), Hungary (X units) and Denmark (X units), together resulting at 77% of total export. Slovakia (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Serbia (with a CAGR of +14.3%), while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest metal solid fuel appliances supplying countries worldwide were Italy ($X), China ($X) and Poland ($X), with a combined 46% share of global exports. Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Serbia, Belgium and Turkey lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 34%.
