In value terms, China ($X), the United States ($X) and France ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, together accounting for 34% of global exports. Germany, Japan, Romania, Singapore, India, Italy, Switzerland, South Korea, Canada and Taiwan (Chinese) lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 35%.

Among the main exporting countries, Singapore, with a CAGR of +29.4%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
