Domestic Coffee Machine Exports

Exports in Western Africa

In 2022, shipments abroad of domestic electric coffee or tea makers was finally on the rise to reach X units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year declining trend. Overall, exports, however, recorded a abrupt descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, domestic coffee machine exports stood at $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, Sierra Leone (X units) represented the key exporter of domestic electric coffee or tea makers, creating X% of total exports. Cote d'Ivoire (X units) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Senegal (X%).
