Exports from Vietnam

After six years of decline, shipments abroad of sanitary towels, tampons, napkins and diapers increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, sanitary towel and diaper exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, total exports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In 2022, after six years of growth, there was decline in purchases abroad of sanitary towels, tampons, napkins and diapers, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.
