Exports from Vietnam

In 2022, overseas shipments of cocoa powder (not sweetened) decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Over the period under review, exports recorded a abrupt slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, cocoa powder exports fell rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, exports saw a abrupt decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Exports by Country

Russia (X tons), Cambodia (X tons) and Hong Kong SAR (X tons) were the main destinations of cocoa powder exports from Vietnam, with a combined X% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Hong Kong SAR (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
