Exports from Vietnam
In 2022, beer exports from Vietnam skyrocketed to X litres, picking up by X% against 2021. In general, total exports indicated a tangible expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2018 indices. The export price peaked at $X per litre in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were the Philippines ($X per litre) and Lao People's Democratic Republic ($X per litre), while the average price for exports to Singapore ($X per litre) and South Korea ($X per litre) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Imports into Vietnam
In 2022, imports of beer into Vietnam surged to X litres, with an increase of X% on 2021. Overall, imports recorded strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X litres in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
