Exports from Uzbekistan

For the third consecutive year, Uzbekistan recorded decline in overseas shipments of cotton lint, which decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports showed a dramatic descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, cotton lint exports fell significantly to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a precipitous contraction.
