For the fourth consecutive year, the U.S. recorded growth in purchases abroad of paints and coatings, which increased by X% to X tonnes in 2020. In general, imports posted buoyant growth. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2020 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
