Exports from the U.S.

In 2023, overseas shipments of heating equipment (except warm air furnaces) decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the third consecutive year after three years of growth. Overall, exports, however, recorded slight growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2023, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, heating equipment exports fell to $X in 2023. In general, exports recorded a slight reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2022 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2023, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

Canada (X tons), Mexico (X tons) and the Dominican Republic (X tons) were the main destinations of heating equipment exports from the United States, with a combined X% share of total exports.

From 2013 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the Dominican Republic (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Canada ($X) remains the key foreign market for heating equipment (except warm air furnaces) exports from the United States, comprising X% of total exports. In value terms, heating equipment imports dropped sharply to $X in 2023. In general, total imports indicated a temperate increase from 2013 to 2023: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by X%.
