Beeswax Market Size in the UK

In 2019, the UK beeswax market increased by X% to $X for the first time since 2016, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Overall, consumption posted a buoyant increase. These countries were followed by France, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Germany, Taiwan (Chinese), Thailand and Australia, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2019, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by France (+X% per year), while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Ireland ($X), Poland ($X) and France ($X) were the largest markets for beeswax exported from the UK worldwide, with a combined X% share of total exports.

The average beeswax export price stood at $X per tonne in 2019, which is down by -X% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated tangible growth from 2007 to 2019: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last twelve-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2019 figures, beeswax export price decreased by -X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, average export prices reached the peak figure at $X per tonne in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2019, export prices remained at a lower figure.
