It was followed by India (X tons), with a 2.5% share of total exports. Oman (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 1.4% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Zambia amounted to +6.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: India (+14.3% per year) and Oman (-12.5% per year).

In value terms, Zambia ($X) remains the key foreign market for sulphides, polysulphides, dithionites and sulphoxylates exports from the United Arab Emirates, comprising 96% of total exports.
