In value terms, dried mushroom exports shrank slightly to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, exports saw a abrupt setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, exports reached the peak of $X. from 2018 to 2020, the growth exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

Oman (X tonnes) was the main destination for dried mushroom exports from the United Arab Emirates, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, dried mushroom exports to Oman exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Iran (X tonnes), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by Uganda (X tonnes), with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Oman stood at +X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Iran (+X% per year) and Uganda (-X% per year).

In value terms, Oman ($X) remains the key foreign market for dried mushroom exports from the United Arab Emirates, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Uganda ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Azerbaijan, with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Oman stood at +X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Uganda (+X% per year) and Azerbaijan (X% per year).

Export Prices by Country

The average dried mushroom export price stood at $X per tonne in 2020, rising by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a noticeable reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of X% year-to-year. As a result, export price reached the peak level of $X per tonne. from 2015 to 2020, the growth in terms of the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest price was Uganda ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Iran ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Uganda, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

As a result, imports attained the peak of X tonnes. from 2012 to 2020, the growth imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, dried mushroom imports fell remarkably to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011 with an increase of X% y-o-y. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. from 2012 to 2020, the growth imports remained at a lower figure.

The U.S. (X tonnes), Pakistan (X tonnes) and China (X tonnes) were the main suppliers of dried mushroom imports to the United Arab Emirates, with a combined X% share of total imports.

From 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in the U.S. (+X% per year), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the U.S. ($X), China ($X) and the Netherlands ($X) constituted the largest dried mushroom suppliers to the United Arab Emirates, together comprising X% of total imports.
