Organic Pigments Exports

Exports from Ukraine

In 2022, approx. X tons of synthetic organic coloring matter and pigments were exported from Ukraine; dropping by X% compared with the previous year. In general, exports continue to indicate a abrupt downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, organic pigments exports contracted sharply to $X in 2022. Overall, exports faced a abrupt decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2021, and then reduced markedly in the following year.

Exports by Country

Belarus (X tons) was the main destination for organic pigments exports from Ukraine, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, organic pigments exports to Belarus exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Russia (X tons), twofold. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
