Prefabricated Buildings Exports

Exports from Ukraine

In 2022, the amount of prefabricated buildings exported from Ukraine reduced slightly to X tons, shrinking by X% compared with the previous year. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, prefabricated buildings exports reduced to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, recorded modest growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, and then contracted in the following year.

Poland (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Slovakia (X tons) were the main destinations of prefabricated buildings exports from Ukraine, with a combined X% share of total exports. The Netherlands, Lithuania, France, Iceland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Hungary, Vietnam and Bulgaria lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

In 2022, the amount of prefabricated buildings imported into Ukraine contracted sharply to X tons, with a decrease of X% on 2021 figures. In general, imports continue to indicate a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, prefabricated buildings imports dropped significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports faced a deep reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X%. Imports peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
